• Medical kit (how comprehensive this needs to be depends on the remoteness of your destination)
  
• Any medication you are on (including the pill!) - make sure you have enough to last your trip

• Sleep sac - sheet for inside your sleeping bag (even if you're not taking a sleeping bag, this will be useful
• when you find yourself greeted with dubious bedding).
